My Life My Choice's Gig Buddies project

My Life My Choice logo

Gig Buddies is a project run by My Life My Choice in partnership with three other local charities; Restore, Age UK Oxfordshire and Aspire.

Participants are matched with a volunteer buddy who loves the same kind of ‘gigs’  so they can go to these ‘gigs’ together. The 'gig' could be almost anything that people enjoy doing but might be something like going to football matches, the cinema, museum, or concerts.

Gig Buddies is for people who want to get out and about more and do the things they enjoy.

We support adults with learning disabilities, adults with mental health conditions and older adults.

Gig Buddies also runs monthly events for our gig buddies, and all My Life My Choice members to get involved in: https://mylifemychoice.org.uk/events/
