We have a long and very successful history of producing exciting productions and developing the talent, creativity and confidence of local young people, in all aspects of theatre production. Many Encore members have gone on to study drama-related subjects at Further Education, including LAMDA!

Encore members have the chance to appear in show case productions, as well as our annual (award winning) pantomimes, The Wallingford Carnival, Drama Festival entries and even LAMDA exams.

We also actively encourage members to get involved in backstage activities too, including making costumes, props and scenery, as well as stage management, lighting, sound and crewing and FOH.

Classes take place on Wednesdays after school in term time, at the Corn Exchange Theatre (unless otherwise notified). There are usually 10 classes per term (excluding half terms).
