The Harcourt Arboretum is an integral part of the plant collection of the University of Oxford Botanic Garden, and is located 6 miles south of Oxford. This 80 acre site has a range of plants, trees and habitats, from the ornamental collections to the wild woods, and provides the perfect setting for children to engage with the natural environment. We are open on weekdays throughout the year, and weekends from March – November. There is no need to book your visit, just come along and explore. Many visitors choose to spend the day and bring a picnic. During the school holidays we have free family friendly activities on offer.

The day ticket you buy at Harcourt Arboretum is also valid for entry at the Botanic Garden. If you plan your day carefully, then you will have time to visit both sites for the same price
