Stepping Stones Nursery is a small 25-placement Independent Nursery set in old vicarage within large grounds and has been established since 1991. It has a large outside space offering lots of play and learning opportunities for our children as well as a large bright and airy indoor space. The nursery has been recently totally refurbished and offers a fun, stimulating, safe home from home environment with a long serving staff team. We offer flexible sessions including, Full time , Part time and Term time only and accept eligible children for the FREE Educational 2 yr,3 and 4 year olds 15 /30 Hour Funding Grant . We also accept Student, University and Social Service Funding. and Childcare Vouchersby the parental government childcare site and payments  .Discounts are offered with regard to siblings and NHS staff. Also have seasonal discounts

We have a high proportion of children with English as a second language and we cater for additional needs children. Due to our small numbers we can give children a lot of 1 to 1 attention and small group experiences to help them flourish both socially and educationally IN A HOME FROM HOME ENVIRONMENT

We offer placements to 2 yr funded children and the 15 and 30 hours Funding for eligible 3 and 4 year olds. We also offer placements to University Students with Childcare Burseries and except funding from a number of Colleges and Universities providing Childcare Burseries for their students.We also offer placements to Social Services and other Educational Bodies. We  also look after children on short Term contracts where parents are vising Oxford for Conferences OR SHORT UNIVERSITY PLACEMENTS at differing times of the Year .

Although we have wheelchair access into the Nursery the building cannot be adapted to provide a lift up to the 1st floor for Pre-school and is unable to offer a large Disabled Toliet so unfortuantly we cannot offer placements to children 3years+ who are wheelchair bound
