Florence Park can be found nestled between Iffley Road and Cowley Road, a short walk from Templars Square. The gates are open and locked every day at dawn and dusk, but is open to everyone to:

  • enjoy the colourful flowerbeds and wildflower planting
  • play tennis on one of the five tennis courts (charges apply)
  • play miniature golf (charges apply)
  • visit one of the three play areas
  • build a sandcastle in sand pit and water play
  • zip down the sip wire and over the timber play
  • grab a tasty treat at the San Remo cafe and kiosk
  • take a breather in the band stand
  • find the three pots of hidden¬†geocache¬†treasure
  • watch the local wildlife
  • have a picnic
  • have a informal kickabout, cricket or frisbee
  • play table-tennis
  • grab some conkers
  • enjoy the array of native trees
  • go for a walk or run
  • visit the Children's Centre
  • view the mosaic
