I am a qualified Early Years Teacher and Ofsted Registered Childminder. I have taught in local Abingdon schools and primary schools in London.

Qualifications & training: BA Early Childhood Studies, Paediatric First Aid, Childminding & the EYFS, Generalist Safeguarding, Designated Lead Safeguarding/Food Hygiene Level 2, Forest Childcare leader.

I have 3 children (10, 7, 4) who will be at school whilst I care for your child.  Whilst with me, your child will have lots of fun!  I provide Forest Childcare trips, in which 2 days of the week, we spend the morning in a local forest, wood or outdoor environment, learning and enjoying our time in the great outdoors! We walk to the local parks to feed the ducks and have picnic style snack times. We take trips to the library where the children can choose a book to take home and read. Sometimes we go on trips away from Abingdon such as Millets Farm, Nature Tots at Sutton Courtenay Environmental Centre, Gymnastics stay & play sessions to occupy our mornings. We have lunch at home, followed by nap or quiet time before the end of the day.  

I have a warm and welcoming home with a large, clean and inviting space where I will care for your child. There is direct access to the outdoors for free-flow play, this area has a gazebo so we can use the outdoors in all weather and use the outdoors as much as possible to keep Covid safe there is also a variety of resources for all the different ages & stages. My home is near OLA school in Abingdon.

Past teaching/childcare roles: I have worked as a part-time nanny & babysitter in various London locations such as Notting Hill, Chelsea and Knightsbridge. My part-time nanny role required me to look after a 2 year old during the day and then his siblings in the evening, I undertook this role for 2 years. 

I have Qualified Teacher Status and over 7 years classroom experience.  I have worked with children from the ages of 4 to 7, from Reception through to Year 2.  I also have the experience of having my own 3 children!

I am CRB checked, I have Public Liability Insurance & my car is insured for Business to enable me to transport your child.
