Our nature reserve at Sutton Courtenay isn't normally open to the public due to the site's primary use as an education centre. However, we love to share the nature reserve so here is a chance to come in and explore! Stop by the centre to pick up a map and make a donation, then head out to discover the woodland, meadows and ponds.

The open day is open to everyone however we ask that any children visiting are supervised by an adult at all times due to the nature of the site (i.e. open water). There will be no activities arranged by staff on this date - please take a look at our other event listings if you are interested in BBOWT run activities at the centre.

Sorry, campfires and barbecues are not permitted on our nature reserve. There are outdoor picnic tables and you are welcome to bring a snack or picnic lunch but we ask that you take all rubbish home with you. No dogs except guide/assistance dogs please.

Booking is not required for this event but parking at our site is limited so please ensure you park sensibly so that we can welcome as many visitors as possible throughout the day.

Please note the gates will be locked promptly at 3pm.

All visitors must abide by the following Terms & Conditions:

If you or a member of your household is showing any flu like signs or symptoms of COVID-19, or is testing positive for COVID-19, please do not visit.
