Twinnies! at Maple Tree

This session helps to develop children’s understanding of the world, making sense of their ever-expanding world and their own place within it. It provides the foundations for science, technology, ecology and a growing understanding about cultural and social diversity.
Aims:
- To provide play opportunities and first-hand experiences outside and indoors to help foster children’s wonder, curiosity, exploration, creativity and problem-solving capabilities
- To encourage children and their carers become engaged with the centre and local community to help develop children’s respect for diversity and growing sense of caring for others
- To provide a friendly welcoming environment where parents can get to know each other and be mutually supportive of life with twins
