I am a fully qualified primary school teacher who runs children's cookery classes within Oxfordshire. The classes are suitable for children aged 2 and a half upwards and will teach them cookery and food craft. Learning to cook is one of the most empowering skills for children to learn, developing their confidence, techniques that will enable them to eat more healthily, economically and to have fun with food.

I offer preschool classes, after school sessions, holiday courses, weekend classes and at home parties for all occasions. I am also happy to teach sessions within a school and pre-school setting. I show children where their food comes from, how it is produced and what different cultures do with it. My lessons cover early years, primary and secondary curriculum objectives. Basic cooking skills for pre-schoolers as well as other pre-school building blocks such as numbers and colours, counting, measuring and much more.

They are classes for you and your child to enjoy together. Sessions include food related games, music, sampling new ingredients and preparing a dish to either enjoy at the end of the class or bake at home. You will be given a recipe card at the end of each session and a certificate each term.

Why not try a session before committing to a term? Take a look at my photographs and reviews to see exactly what the children create. Email me to book your child's place.
