St Nicolas Preschool is a Partnership Foundation Stage Unit with St Nicolas School. The independently run preschool has one intake per year in September (if spare places are available there may be a smaller intake in the January, where priority is given to children who turn 4 between Sept-Dec).  Children can be registered on our waiting list from their 2nd birthday and, if offered a place, will start with us the September following their third birthday. A place at St Nicolas Preschool does not guarantee a place at St Nicolas School.  Visits are currently not available due to ongoing Covid-19 restrictions - please call us on 01235 536061 or email stnicolaspreschool@btinternet.com if you would like more information about our preschool.

We offer universal (15 hours/week) funded places for 3&4 year olds including the extended offer of 30 hours/week funding to eligible families, subject to availability - please visit the government website http://childcarechoices.gov.uk to see if you are eligible.  We offer up to 6 funded hours per day. Sessions over 6 hours on any day will incur an additional charge of £4.10.
