Service Logo

MacIntyre is a charity dedicated to providing the widest range of teaching and learning, support and care services to people with learning disabilities. We offer creative, personalised solutions that encourage independence for each person and support them to lead fulfilling lives.

Situated on the Abingdon College Campus, MacIntyre Abingdon Partnership College provides specialist college day placements for learners aged between 16 and 25 with complex learning difficulties and autism. Our particular expertise lie in supporting students with autistic spectrum disorders, through the use of person centred approaches to learning, offering students an individualised programme designed to prepare them for greater independence in their future lives.

We support young people with learning disabilities to access further education through our partnership with Abingdon & Witney College. Many of our learners access volunteering opportunities with other local charities and organisations, including Blue Cross and SOFEA, the South Oxfordshire Food and Education Alliance.
