We give German speaking children and parents an opportunity to meet up and play and sing in German. We celebrate typical German events and occasions such as Lantern Walks, St Nikolaus' Day and Karneval.

“Die Kleinen Spatzen” sind eine Spielgrupe in Oxford, die seit vielen Jahren deutschsprachige Kinder zusammenfuehrt, um beim gemeinsamen Spiel die deutsche Sprache und Kultur zu foerdern.

 Hier koennen Kleinkinder (0-4 Jahre) und Eltern in entspannter Atmosphaere zusammen reden, spielen, basteln und singen. Die Gruppe trifft sich jeden ersten und dritten Freitag im Monat zu einer 2 stuendigen Spielgruppe.

 Zusammen feiern wir auch typisch deutsche Festtage und treffen uns zum Fasching und Laternenumzug. Regelmaessig werden wir vom “Deutschen Baecker” besucht, der leckere Backwaren und andere Lebensmittel verkauft.
