The Parasol Project - Teen Holiday Activities (Choice Days)

Oxford based, inclusive, age appropriate holiday activities for disabled and non-disabled young people aged 12-19 years.
Activities take place in school holidays between 10am and 3pm and include:
Youth Centre Days with Cooking, Art, Carpentry, Dance & Drama and Sports projects and Teenage activities such as pool, table tennis, board games, cards etc..
Activity days like Cinema & Bowling, Laser Tag, toboganning, Canoeing & Kayaking, Race Hut and Ice Skating. We also run scavenger hunts in the city centre, go out for meals and much, much more.
Residential trips to Isle of Wight, Kilvrough in Wales and the Wye Valley. These trips usually take place in the Summer and are either big house residentials for up to 30 young people or smaller camping trips.
Volunteer Project - As Parasol Volunteers Young people go through an application process, attend interviews and receive regular appraisals. Our Volunteers work alongside staff to gain valuable work experience, improve self confidence, time keeping & independence and develop social & work skills. Volunteers work towards AQAs in Volunteering.
Parasol staff ensure young people can take part in activities, make friends and have fun in a safe and supportive environment.
