Hello, my name is Donna and I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder and I live in Bletchingdon with my husband Simon and my 3 children who are 15, 12 and 5. I can provide care for all families seeking childcare within the Oxfordshire area for children from birth to 12 years, this also includes children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

I currently have availabilty to take children from now.

My setting has been open throughout the lockdown providing care for keyworker families and therefore I am up to date with all the new procedures and regulations set out by the Government to have a safe and happy environment for children of all ages to attend.

If you are requiring childcare in a family home environment and you think my setting would suit you and your family, then I woud love to hear from you.

Notes

I offer a warm and inviting family home environment situated in a quiet cul-de-sac within a friendly village. A short walk brings you to the new and very welcoming primary school. Another short walk brings you to the park aimed at young children which joins on to the sports field for the more energetic child. The village has safe access all round and provides a safe pedestrian crossing at the start and finish of each schooling day.

Bletchingdon is situated within stunning Oxfordshire countryside. I am 10 minutes from Kidlington, 15 minutes from Bicester and 5 minutes to join the A34 going north and southbound to make commuting an ease. I live off the main road with ample parking to make drop offs and collections safer and more efficient.

I feel it is important to keep all children in my care stimulated and happy to enrich their development as much as possible and help them grow. I like to take them to beautiful open spaces which are available to us all year round for the children to explore and let their imagination go wild. Come rain or shine your child will be open to these opportunities, from running around freely like their favourite superhero, building up the courage to challenge themselves on something they would normally shy away from, learning about nature or just to have a great time in the mud with pots and pans. Wellies and rain coats at the ready!

At dinner time I provide a balanced meal for the children if such meal is requested. A menu board is created weekly to offer a variety of meals which has lots of healthy fruit and vegetables included. I believe that teaching the children young about healthy living has a huge impact on their way of eating and their food choices as they grow. (Dietary requirements will be taken into consideration) each hot meal will be charged at an additional £2.20 per child.

Snacks, milk and water are free of charge.

Lunch is asked to be provided but can be hot or cold.
