Our Location

Pippins Day Nursery and Nursery School is based at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Headington, Oxford. It is located just inside the Old Road rear entrance to the hospital, with easy access and drop-off parking facilities. Established in 2000, Pippins offers full nursery facilities and a high standard of equipment in a homely environment. The nursery has a large garden area, with a separate baby garden.

We Provide

Registered day care for children between the ages of 3 months to 5 years. We are open between 7:15am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday, 52 weeks a year, excluding bank holidays. Lunch, high tea, plus all snacks and drinks are provided. We offer a daily vegetarian option and will cater for special dietary needs. Baby formula and all first weaning foods are provided; breast-feeding mothers are also welcomed. Nappies are provided free of charge by the nursery.

Management

Kate Walsh took over as Nursery Manager for Pippins Day Nursery and Nursery School in 2014. Kate is supported by Aurora Childcare's Quality Assurance and Training Managers.

Staff prepared to work with parents, carers and other professionals to provide a good level of care and development relevant to the child's needs
Whilst we do not have experience in all areas of need, we would contact different agencies and seek training in areas should the need arise
