King's Meadow School Nursery class

King's Meadow logo

King's Meadow Nursery provides an excellent start to your child's learning. With highly qualified staff, we are able to deliver the EYFS development matters, within a nurturing environment. The children learn through a mixture of whole class, group and individual teacher lead activities and carefully planned self initiated activities or play. Our curriculum is topic based allowing the children to make links in their learning and we adapt our focus to follow the children's interests. Nursery aged children can attend for either 15 or 30 hours. Fifteen hours will take the format of five mornings (currently 8.45am - 11.45pm) or five afternoons (currently 12.15pm - 3.15pm) and 30 hours will be over 5 full days (currently 8.45am - 15.15). For those parents whose children are eligible 30 hours places will be funded, however parents are welcome to fund the additional hours if they so wish. There is a maximum of 36 places available in Nursery irrespective of whether the child has a 15 or 30 hour place.
