Everyone who visits Cogges for the first time is bowled over by its beauty. Made famous as Yew Tree Farm in Downton Abbey, Cogges is a unique venue and heritage site with a fascinating story. You can currently visit over 15 acres of outdoor space, including meadows, orchard, farm yard, walled garden, sheep pasture and woods. Take welly walks around the island woodland and moat by the River Windrush, at the site of the original manor house.
Children can enjoy the adventure play area and 'mini Cogges' tractors. Plus there's soft play and sand pits for younger kids. Meet the farm animals: Shetland ponies, Cotswold sheep, Sandy and Black pigs, Pygmy goats, rare breed chickens and Indian Runner ducks. We also care for rabbits, guinea pigs and guinea fowl. Animal handling is offered every weekend at 11am and 2pm.
