Wantage White Horse Swimming Club

Wantage White Horses Swimming Club (WWHSC) offers competitive swimming training run by qualified Coaches. The Club was founded in 1978 and since that time has been providing swimming training for new swimmers through to regional and even national standard competitive standards.

We are a small club who look to encourage and motivate swimmers in a friendly and supportive environment.

Our training sessions are structured and based on the age group and ability of a swimmer. We have a squad structure.

All members of the Club have the opportunity to compete in the Club Championships and those who reach the relevant qualifying standards are encouraged to swim in the Oxfordshire and North Bucks County Championships, the South East Region competitions at Crawley and National Championships in Sheffield.

The Club enters swimmers and teams in open meets and competitive galas throughout the year.

A team of experienced coaches and lane helpers, led by head coaches Maria Tomsett and Sean Mienie, ensure that swimmers identify and set course to reach their full potential in swimming.

We are always looking to welcome new members.
