Art Lessons 4-15 years

Drawing and painting lessons with professional artist Micah Hayns in his Oxford based gallery and studio:

Micah studied Old Master drawing at the Florence Academy of Art in Italy and is running lessons to teach children the fundamental techniques and craft of drawing in a fun, accessible way.

Each lesson we will be focussing on how build a drawing up from its basic foundational shapes and core structure and into a three dimensional image. We will be addressing the elements of art such as values, shapes, gesture, line, edges, planes and tone as well as experimenting with a variety of different drawing materials such as charcoal and graphite as well as gaining an understanding of colour using chalk pastel and watercolour

These lessons will be perfect if your child is interested in drawing but is looking for some extra guidance, structure and encouragement to help them to continue to grow and improve. It will give them more confidence in the craft of drawing that will help them to express their ideas both at home and in school projects.
