Wilderness Nursery is a flexible day nursery located in the heart of the vibrant area of Cowley in Oxford.

We are able to offer nursery education from the term after your child's third birthday.

Every child is able to have 15 hours of fully funded free education.  Some children who have parents in receipt of certain benefits may be eligible for 30 hours of fully funded free education.  In addition extra sessions may also be purchased.

We are able to offer flexible places to suit and not just the standard morning or afternoon places.

In normal times (not Covid-19) we are also able to offer wraparound care for before school and after school.

We are open all year round and places can be term time or spread over 48 weeks per year.

Please contact us at wn@church-cowley-st-james.oxon.sch,uk for an information pack and more details.

We would love to be able to welcome your child to our beautiful, purpose build nursery and hope to hear from you soon.

Notes

Choosing a nursery for your child is a huge decision, not one to be made lightly. Let us tell you a little bit about why we're special.

Firstly and most importantly, we care. All of our staff work hard on their relationships with your child, it's why your child will love their nursery and why in
turn that's easy for you - relationships are key.

Secondly, our building is great! Our purpose built nursery was designed with your child in mind, we spent over £500,000 making sure that it has everything they could ask for to ensure that they can learn, love and live.

Finally, our grounds. We're constantly developing our site but your child will have access to an amazing outdoor space for themselves with: A huge sandpit,
traditional Mongolian yurt, plenty of hills and bumpy challenging terrain, dedicated water play area, full size all weather sports pitch, our forest school with over 100 trees from all over the world, our allotments, fire pit area, library and our amazing 'Big School'.
