2pm – 4pm Saturdays during term time Taking inspiration from the Museum, its collections and temporary exhibitions, young people work over several months to achieve their Arts Award at Bronze, Silver and Gold level. They have opportunities to work in a range of different media including screen printing, clay modelling and 3D construction, painting, drawing and textiles, and are encouraged to plan their own work around their chosen theme. As part of the Award, young people carry out research and also write reviews of arts events or exhibitions. They also build their self-confidence through demonstrating a practical skill to the rest of the group. Sessions cost £12 per week and must be booked as a block.
