Little Milton Church of England Primary School Breakfast and After School Club

At Little Milton we offer breakfast club from 8am every weekday morning until 8.45am when children join their classes for the school day. A healthy breakfast is available, including cereals, fruit, yoghurt and toast as well as the occasional treat – Waffle Wednesday has become very popular!

The club offers a range of activities designed to help children start the school day calmly, having been fuelled by good food! Children are able to play board games, outside or art activities or listen to music and our club is a thriving one, run by two teaching assistants. It costs £3.50 for the session, including breakfast. We also offer an Early Start club, where children can join in the activities without breakfast – this helps parents to get to work on time or to avoid traffic. This is available from 8.30am every morning for £1 per session.

We began offering After School Club at Little Milton in September 2016. We offer a two hour club, from 3pm – 5pm, from Monday to Thursday inclusive, during school term time. Children can relax and enjoy activities at the end of the school day, choosing their own entertainment as well as joining others if they wish. Table tennis is popular as well as reading and collaborative art activities and there is always some outside play time. Healthy snacks and drinks are available at the club, which is run by one of our lovely teaching assistants.

Ad hoc bookings cost £5 per hour although if you are able to plan half a term in advance, we can offer slots for £3.50 per hour. More information from the school office.
