West Oxfordshire Music Centre

Experience shows that children who make most progress musically join in with musical activities and have fun making music with others.

Music is a great way for a child to develop and to show their creative side. Oxfordshire County Music Service operates Saturday morning music centres in these towns around Oxfordshire. Please note that although there is usually a fee to attend one of these centres, children who are in their first year of learning an instrument may attend their local music centre free of charge until the end of the current academic year.

Activities on offer include; Junior and senior orchestras Brass ensemble String ensemble Choir Theory tuition (11.30am-12 noon), at an additional charge There are many opportunities for you child to develop in a solo way, and to develop in a team. Fun and expression are our philosophies, and your child is allowed to progress at thier own pace, with no pressure placed upon. This creates a enjoyable enviroment, and the best kind of enviroment in which your child can develop in.
