Child First - Banbury

Based across two of the most unusual and historic buildings in the heart of the town and overlooking the famous Banbury Cross, Child First Banbury is a magical home from home setting in which your child can blossom.
Our forever changing environment is full of fun and adventure and through our free flow approach our children set the scene every day.
Our large indoor climbing frame sees races to the top of the tower, chants from the kings and queens and games of beating the troll across the bridge followed by the children zooming down the huge slide ready for their next quest.
Numerous sensory areas with funky light cubes and twirling, swirling lights take dancing and movement to the next level! Not forgetting the largest disco ball in the nurseries history.
Being a town centre nursery is perfect for trips to the park, visits to the library, shopping for baking ingredients and our children can always be seen out and about around the town. Our three fully equipped outdoor play areas within the setting mean ensures that children can always play outside whatever the weather.
After all the running around outside, building dens and riding bikes, children can relax and chill out in our reading wall and snuggly areas which have lots of nooks and nests for children to climb into and snuggle down whilst they enjoy a good story. There's always room for one more!
Our cooks prepare fresh, tasty and healthy meals and snacks throughout the day, made from supplies from the local farm shop and butchers. All children, whether attending for 5 hours or full time, join in and share meals with their friends and we are always making and baking soups, fruit kebabs, breads and biscuits which are sent home for our families to enjoy!
Children join us from 3 months to five years and we have a good balance of trained and experienced staff to make sure all children’s individual needs are met. Through a well-established key person approach and multiple settling in visits we ensure that a special bond is created. You can confidently leave them knowing that your child is safe and secure and that they will have a great time, with days full of variety and fun ensuring they become happy, secure and confident little learners.
