Taylor Tug’s Under 5s Club and Taylor Tugs at Tea Time Taylor Tugs is our exciting under 5s offering that has been enjoyed by families for 10 years. We offer a morning bookable session or an afternoon drop-in: Taylor Tug’s Under 5s Club Every week, Maddy our wonderful session leader and experienced teacher, brings the Museum to life through stories, craft, song and dance. With a focus on a different object, painting or exhibition every week, children discover the treasures we have in our collection and gain confidence in themselves and the Museum setting. Each week begins with song time, from ‘Little Green Frog’ to ‘Mr Toad’s Motor Car Song’. This is followed by a carousel of four activities, usually, two crafts, one paint and one messy table, all based around the theme for the week. The group then goes up to the Museum to find the object, painting or exhibition before returning for snack and story time. The session is rounded off with free play. Age 18 months – 5 years, Wednesdays, term time, 10 – 11:30am. Please bring a small snack and drink for your child. Can be booked termly or half-termly, but must be booked in advance on 01491 415605 or email edbookings@rrm.co.uk. Taylor Tugs at Tea Time A shorter but equally fun version of the morning session including a gallery visit, activities, songs and story time. Age 18 months – 5 years, Wednesdays, term time, 3 – 4pm. £3 per child, no booking required.
