Bainton Road Nursery

Bainton Road Nursery was established in November 2016, primarily for the fellows, students, lecturers and staff of St Johns College. Employees affiliated with any department within the Oxford University are also eligible to apply for nursery places.

Bainton Road Nursery is a bespoke single-story building catering for age groups from 6 months through to pre-school age. There is a separate baby room that can take up to six children under the age of 2. Children between 2-5 years old have the use of a large play room that can be partitioned flexibly into smaller spaces to allow for different activities and quiet times. The building is positioned to wrap around an external play area that faces out over the St John’s College sports field. Part of the play area is covered by a tensile canopy that enables children to play outside in a wide range of weather condition

Full and part time places are provided subject to avaliablity. Bainton Road nursery participates in the government funded hours scheme.
