Oxford Summertown Kumon Study Centre

Summertown Kumon is part of Kumon UK which is in turn part of the worldwide Kumon network of study centres (see: www.kumon.co.uk for further information).

There are currently over four million students studying maths and languages using the Kumon method of learning that was originally developed by Toru Kumon in Japan. In the UK there are over 60,000 students and Summertown Kumon is one of the largest Kumon Centres with approximately 300 students studying maths and English.

The Kumon method takes students from counting to calculus in maths and from learning to read to Shakespeare and the Greek Tragedies in English. Students may choose Kumon to complement their school studies to catch-up or to excel at either maths or English. Whatever their ability, every student is treated individually with their own course of study.

Kumon in Oxford is now 30 years old and well established with many students staying for over 5 years (the average length of stay is 3 years).
