Berinsfield Information & Volunteer Centre has been operating in Berinsfield for over 30 years. Primarily, we offer information and advice in a range of areas; welfare rights, housing, social support, consumer rights and more. The Centre relies totally on volunteers to function on a day to day basis and so, we are constantly looking for new volunteers to help with the quick turnaround of staff. BIVC holds monthly coffee mornings and also supports our Crafty Bees craft club.
BIVC edits, produces and delivers the local newsletter ‘Your Village Voice’, to over 1200 homes and businesses in the village.
We also support the development of projects that will benefit the local community. We are embarking upon new projects, working with other agencies in the village in an effort to build stronger community bonds and relay a sense of unity within the community.
