Waterperry Opera Festival presents a relaxed, family-friendly productions of Humperdinck’s Hansel & Gretel, perfect for families (aimed at children 7+), whether regular theatre-goers or those attending an opera performance for the first time.

 

This inclusive outdoor production of Hansel and Gretel, lasting an hour, integrates British Sign Language into the staging and storytelling. Prior to the performances, there will be a free signed singing/props-making workshop exploring themes & characters from the opera. Why not spend a day within the beautiful Waterperry Gardens (entry included in the price of your ticket), exploring it's hidden corners you never know what you might find.

At Waterperry Opera Festival we pride ourselves on meeting the needs of all our visitors.

Access Parking: Access parking is available and should be booked in advance by emailing info@waterperryoperafestival.co.uk.

Accessing the Gardens: Most of the paths at Waterperry are accessible to visitors in wheelchairs which are available on site. All our performance spaces are easily accessible for wheelchair users and others with limited mobility. A separate unisex disabled toilet is available in our main toilet block situated in the main car park. Push wheelchairs are available free of charge for visitors who'd like see more of our beautiful estate. We also have one motorised scooter available. Please email info@waterperryoperafestival.co.uk for more information or to reserve your wheelchair.

Assistance Animals: Assistance animals are welcome.
