The Oxford Junior Rowing Course run non-residential holiday rowing courses for children aged 9-16.  We run courses in the Autumn Half Term, Easter holidays and Summer holidays for complete beginners through to advanced junior rowers.  We are based in central Oxford.  Bursaries are also available so please do get in touch if you are interested.

During your time with us we not only have lots of fun on the water learning to row but we have some great land based sessons including life skills such as goal setting, teamwork and leadership as well as sessions on yoga, nutrition and mindfulness.  In the Summer months we also enjoy other water based activities including raft building and gondaling!

Notes

We row from Magdalen College Boat House (MCBC) in the centre of Oxford.   MCBC has traditionally been one of the most successful Oxford boat clubs over its 158 year history. MCBC is located on the City Bank of the River Isis (Thames) in Oxford, at the end of what is known as Boathouse Island. The boathouse has all the facilities we need for our week on the river including changing rooms, a common room and a balcony with stunning views of the river.
