Ms Katrina Tanner

I am qualified level 3 holding a diploma in childcare and education.  I am a registered childminder based in Greater Leys and have lots of experience in working with children.  I hold a current paediatric first aid certificate and my safeguarding skills are all up to date.  I have over 18 years experience working with children aged 6months-5 years.  My previous role in a nursery was nursery manager of a small nursery in Oxford.

I decided to start childminding to enable me to continue the job I love but also spend more time with my family.  I live with my husband and have two young boys aged 7 and 11.  We also have a cat and a rabbit.  We enjoy spending time outside and love going on outings.  We enjoy trips to toddler groups, the local library, lots of park visits, nature reserves and country walks.  I will offer a home from home environment and understand the importance of giving children a calm, loving environment to develop, learn and explore and thrive to do the best for each child in my care. We enjoy a vast variety of activities such as; outside treasure hunts, walks to the park, nature walks as well as lots of activities at home that include painting, drawing, arts and crafts, reading and singing and lots more.  

All training certificates, dbs checks, registration certificates etc. available to see on first meeting.

We have a good bus link to the city centre.  We are located close to links directly to the A34 and the Oxford ring road with easy access to the Oxford science park and the Oxford business park.
