"Reading for pleasure has been revealed as the most important indicator of the future success of a child”. OECD 2002 and National Literacy Trust 2008

Bookfeast is a charity that builds on basic literacy, creating projects that encourage children to enjoy and be able to talk about reading and make the link between reading and writing, so enabling them to develop both their reading and writing skills.

Bespoke Projects for Health & Social Care

We have run creative writing and art projects for looked after children and also the Art Room and can offer bespoke projects (based around reading and/or creative writing) for looked after children and vulnerable young people, up to the age of 16.
