Better Housing Better Health Service

Oxfordshire Affordable Warmth Network

Better Housing Better Health is a service commissioned by local NHS Services and Oxfordshire Councils. We are a warmth and wellbeing service here to make sure that everyone feels warm and safe in their homes. We are a one-stop shop for queries relating to warmth in the home e.g. high energy bills and energy efficiency queries. We can help you to find grants for improvements in the home e.g. boiler replacement grants, insulation, home improvement grants etc. We can also refer into a range of other services that can help with: befriending, handyperson services, fire prevention, safety in the home and a range of issues to do with wellbeing.

Our helpline is open Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm (excluding bank holidays) - 0800 107 0044 or email us on 0800 107 044

Our website www.bhbh.org.uk offers a secure way to refer yourself or someone you know.

Costs

Details

There is no cost to use this service, our helpline is a free phone number and we would be happy to listen to your query and try to help. All our interventions and services are free to use unless you are looking for a grant and then this may not cover the full amount of any work needed. This would be discussed with you and you are under no obligation to proceed with any work until the costs have clearly been laid out and we have explored every avenue of funding for you.
