Oxford Swans Swimming Club - for disabled and elderly people
Weekly swimming club for disabled people and elderly people. We are a friendly and supportive club. We do a lot of one-to-one work and group activity in the water. We swim on:
Tuesday 6 - 7pm at Leys Pool, Blackbird Leys.
Saturday 10 - 12 noon at Ferry Pool, Summertown.
We are seeking volunteers to help support our swimmers in the water. Anyone can help, you don’t have to be a proficient swimmer. Just an interest in swimming and helping is needed. The club can teach you all you need to know: https://oxfordswans.com/volunteer/
At present, owing to a shortage of volunteer helpers, Oxford Swans cannot take any new swimmers, and so we now have a waiting list. Please contact us to be added to the waiting list and we will contact you as soon as you can start attending sessions.
