The Pod at St Frideswide Church of England Primary

Pod Logo

We are an outstanding Ofsted rated Good nursery setting that offers term time care for children from 3 months to 4 years school age. The nursery is split over 2 rooms. The under 3's room with an additional enclosed baby area and the nursery class. All of the areas of the nursery environment is continuously developing to meet children’s needs, interests and support their exploration and play. Children are encouraged to free flow and explore independently. We feel strongly and passionately about children learning through play, both inside and outside. Our garden is a beautiful safe space, with a huge sandpit, willow tunnel and large climbing opportunities. We take pride in the Key person approach, the staff in The Pod work hard to create a rich and stimulating learning environment for all children every day. We have been accredited with the Healthy Smiles award from the Community Dential Services. We ensure the children and families in our care feel like part of the St Frideswide family and community.
