Body Politic have teamed up with Dancin’ Oxford, Active Oxfordshire and Access Sport to launch a brand-new street dance project for young people aged 11-16yrs.

If you're keen to develop your Street Dance technique, learn new routines and develop your own choreography, then these classes are for you. The project also explores how dance can tell stories and communicate ideas and cumulates in numerous performances across the year. As well as perfecting dance moves, the project aims to boost confidence and self-esteem. Read more about what some of our students think about the classes here.

Classes are led by experienced instructors from Body Politic. All our teachers work hard to create a safe and supportive environment where students feel empowered to let their creativity flourish.

This Autumn we are running an exclusive 10-week performance project. Participants will learn new moves, create their own and strut their stuff at this year’s Dancin’ Oxford Christmas Light Festival in November 2018.
