CATKIDS - Cheesman Amateur Theatre for Kids at Thame

CATKIDS’ - Cheesman Amateur Theatre for Kids in Thame holds classes every Saturday morning during the school term. This small, family run, independent group has years of professional experience and a winning formula. We have been established since 2013 and put on many successful productions – Pantomime’s and Summer Musicals. The children have weekly acting lessons, participating in games and script work, learn basic dance routines and songs and everyone is involved in the productions. These are specially written for the cast by Mike Hurst, a well-known script writer for ‘Hurst Children’s Theatre Group’. This gives the children the opportunity to perform their productions in a local Theatre and through these and their weekly classes, gain confidence, have fun and make new friends. For children aged from Reception age to 16 years.
It is a great experience for children in a fun, informal and unpressurised environment.
