Voluntary Controlled C of E School
Hailey Cof E Primary School is a small, friendly Church of England school which provides a perfect setting for children to enter more formal schooling. Our nursery and reception children have the chance to learn through structured play, with individual assessment of learning needs. All our 3, 4 and 5 year olds are taught by an experienced, qualified teacher supported by experienced keyworkers. Activities are developed according to the child’s stage of development, and not simply their age, and children benefit from a wide range of school resources including extensive playing fields and even our own school woodland! We have created a family atmosphere, which is upheld by a dedicated staff team who put the interests of the individual child at the centre of everything they do. Prospective parents and children for any of our yeargroups are warmly invited to visit us.
The high quality of provision was recognised in our Ofsted Inspection in October 2019 which judged the school to be Good and in our 2016 SIAMS Church of England Inspection which judged our school to be outstanding.
The school provides before and after school clubs meaning there is extra provision from 8.00 until 5.15 for busy parents.
We would urge parents to visit our school to see our facilities. We have places available in most classes so do call to check availability.
'Together everyone achieves more’, is evident throughout the school. Pupils told inspectors that ‘Everyone is kind and friendly.’ Ofsted Inspection Report, January 2016.
