The Owl Centre is a private clinic in Oxfordshire for children aged 0 - 18, run by Nicola Lathey, author of the prize-winning and best selling "Small Talk" series of speech-boosting books. It offers Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy (OT), Music Therapy, Dyslexia Assessments and Tuition, Dramatherapy, Dance/Movement Therapy and an SEN Parent Advice Service. It also runs a free monthly parent support group, more information about which can be found at http://www.theowltherapycentre.co.uk/component/k2/itemlist/category/5.html With sites in 14 other counties in England and Wales, our Oxfordshire site also has access to Art Psychotherapists and Behavioural specialists.
The Owl Centre's services cover the entire spectrum of issues, ranging from mild, mainstream issues to complex special needs. Both in-house sessions (in three sites in Oxford) and outreach sessions are available. We also provide services to schools, and are focusing on developing a new model of intervention in order to increase the amount of therapy schools receive for greater value for money.
