The Young Leaders Programme is a bespoke leadership programme, the first one of its kind, which caters for young people 14+ years old.

The programme takes place over a 2 day, 2 night residential, where young people take part in fun activities while undertaking Leadership Workshops, and completing a Log Book of their work. After the weekend away, young people are asked to go back to their youth groups, communities, work places or schools and run an activity or take responsibility for something new, which they then get feedback on.

Young Leaders is not only for the highly academic. Due to its unique combination of experimental learning and accessible assessment tools, young people of all abilities and backgrounds can achieve a qualification, which gives them a real ‘edge’.

The programme is a Level 2 Award in Leadership and Team Skills, and is accredited by The Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM). The programme is nationally recognised, meaning that employers, colleges and universities hold it in high regard.

Please bear in mind that a Level 2 Award is at the same level of learning as a GCSE, so the young person has to be able to understand and process learning at that level to be able to successfully take part.
