Paula works with another registered childminder, Teresa Farquhar and together they are known as TP Toddlers. We were both rated Outstanding in our first Ofsted inspection in June 2014 & rated Good in our current inspection from October 2019.

Current paediatric first aid certificate; Specialist safeguarding; Level 4 first year of Early Years Foundation Degree; Basic Sign language; a little French.

I have a son aged 22 years who is DBS checked and who lives at home. I also have a daughter aged 24 whos married with her own home and 26 year old daughter who is still at home and registered as our assistant.  She is studying childcare and is DBS checked, qualified in Early Years and Ofsted registered as our assiatant.

I have worked in various settings as a live-in and daily nanny, Pre-School Supervisor/deputy/play assistant, creche and private day nursery with 30 years’ experience in childcare with ages new born to 9 years. I have also worked with children from forces families.

I have experience with children when English is an additional language and special needs children.

We are close to the town centre with easy access to the A34. There is ample parking outside the house. We work from a double glazed, heated log cabin in the garden.

Both Paula and Teresa have their own cars but really enjoy walking to local amenities including parks, river, toddler groups, forest school and indoor/outdoor activity centre.

We provide all your child's requirements including car seats, buggies, nappies, snacks and drinks. All we ask is the provision of a packed lunch and a spare set of clothes.

Teresa and I are lifelong friends and have worked together in a professional manner. Throughout our childcare profession, we have seen the benefits of working with a smaller group of children which include homely environment, quality time with both children and parents helping the children to extend their learning and development.

In October 2018 we were thrilled to receive the 'Against Breast Cancer Achievement Award' in the catagory 'School of the Year!'
