Botley Community Fridge

Four million people in the UK are living in food poverty, and at the same time almost one third of all food is thrown away. Community fridges accept surplus food from local businesses or members of the public and make it freely available to all members of the community.

A successful Community Fridge will cut food waste, build stronger bonds within the community and provide people with nutritious, perishable food items.

The Botley community fridge is a small fridge with a big heart.  Anyone can put food into it, and anyone can take food out.  Its main aim is to reduce food waste.  The shelving next to it holds nonperishables, and its main aim is to feed people in need.

Church of St. Peter & St. Paul, 81 West Way, Botley OX2 9JY. Monday - Saturday 10.00am-4.00pm, Sunday 11.00am-4.00pm. Priority for people in need.
