Walking With You Logo

Walking With You Parent Support Group is open to any parent or carer with a child / children up to the age of 25yrs who are experiencing difficulties with their mentla health. It is a safe space to meet ther parents, ask questions, share experiences if you choose to or to just listen to the experiences of others. WWY is running jointly by CAMHS (Children and Adolescant Mental Heatlh Services) and Parent Volunteers who have lived experience of caring for children experiencing difficulties with their mental health. You do not need to be receiving or wiaiting for a service from CAMHS in order to join the group.

Sessions are monthly and currently online. Each session focuses on a different theme but discussions are guided by the questions raised by parents in the group. All sessions are supported by CAMHS Clinicians, parent volunteers and guests who have expertise in the theme being discussed.

Themes from each session are summarised and included in a monthly newsletter along with top tips shared by clinicians and parents and links to resources.
