A comprehensive 6 week evening course of antenatal education from 28 weeks onwards. 7 sessions, each 2.5 hours long, giving information on labour and birth, plus feeding and caring for your new baby, and the chance to make friends with other local couples due around the same time as you, and create an essential support network for once your baby is here. Each course also includes a postnatal reunion. These courses are aimed primarily at first time parents, but you are welcome to attend even if this is not your first baby. The course is designed for couples to attend together - the pregnant woman's partner could be her husband/wife/partner/mum/sister/friend, but it is most beneficial if the person who comes with her is the person who will be supporting her in labour.
