Notes

We are a small welcoming preschool in the grounds of Longworth Primary School. We have our own outdoor free flow play area with climbing equipment and outdoor resources. We share the large outside playing field with the school that we use on a daily basis.

We have four highly qualified members of staff, all who are mothers to their own different sized families. We have a wealth of different backgrounds and knowledge that we bring to the learning at our preschool. Pam is Manager at Longworth Preschool and is SENCO (special educational needs coordinator) and PANCO (physical and nutritional coordinator), having lots of experience helping children with various special education needs and disabilities, to reach their full potential.

We have a musical movement 'Boogie Mites' session everyday at 1.30 for all the children to enjoy. This includes songs that help physical development and phonics teaching. It encourages social learning and expectations for the children to have and use their own ideas in a fun and engaging way.

We invite a variety of visitors into setting including age appropriate First Aid trainer, Dentist, Ballet teacher, Firefighters, chickens and pets from home - to name a few, that come and engage in role play approach learning with the children.
