The Willow On The Farm Nursery

willowonthefarmnursery.jpg

We have brought our established London based nursery into the Oxfordshire countryside. We are situated on a working farm with chickens, geese, cattle, ponies and guinea pigs which the children will have access to. We also have exciting outdoor learning in our Forest School and a wonderful Farm Trailer Adventure once a week where we tractor and trailer down to our stream at the bottom of the farm, to explore the wildlife and plants and trees.

Our session times are Monday-Friday 8.50am until 3:00pm (morning and afternoon sessions).  There are also optional lunch clubs sessions for those doing morning sessions (12:00pm until 1:00pm).  Parents to provide a healthy morning snack and a pack lunch for any children doing lunch clubs or afternoon sessions.

We take children from 2 and a half years and have a high child to adult ratio to ensure they get the best start in their education.  We use the Early Years Foundation Stage Development targets along side our RULER system.  The RULER system is a proven method from Yale University to Recognise, Understand, Label, Express and Regulate our emotions.  Something that is not only important in early years but all through our lives.
