Cherwell Youth Activators
The Youth Activators work with 8-16 yr olds across the district of Cherwell, North Oxfordshire, to engage with them through the use of physical activity, delivering fun alternative sports. Throughout the district, free sessions are put on by the activators in three main areas, recreational spaces, multi-use games areas, and voluntary youth clubs, where the Activators will spend a period of ten weeks engaging with the young people, trying to eradicate any of the barriers restricting their participation in sport. Following the ten week period, The Activators will help signpost young people to new sporting opportunities in their local area.
